This also includes the effects of climate changes on the environmental conditions in which people lived in the past, and which they also influenced. After an introduction by Friederike Fless, president of the German Archaeological Institute, experts from the Free University Berlin, Kiel University, Römisch-Germanisches Zentralmuseum and the German Archaeological Institute open the discussion about climate changes and their impact on past societies.
